How does Happier Hour decide what is “happening now”?
Happening-now status is calculated from venue schedule data using day-of-week and time windows, not static labels.
What qualifies a venue for the Top Pick badge?
Top Pick appears when a venue has at least 10 user reviews and an average rating above 4.5.
Can I save my filter settings?
Yes. Signed-in users can save current filter combinations as named presets and apply, edit, or delete them later.
What filters are available?
Filters include venue type, features, neighborhood, day of week, time period (morning to late), and a happening-now toggle.
How do directions work?
On venue detail, tap the address to trigger directions. The map can then show route distance/time and route controls.
How long do check-ins stay active?
Check-ins are active for 3 hours. Friend activity refreshes frequently to keep the feed current.
How many reviews can I leave for one venue?
One review per user per venue. Submitting again updates your existing review.
Can I upload photos with reviews?
Yes. You can attach venue photos when submitting a review and edit them later.
Can I create and share venue lists?
Yes. Create personal lists, add venues, and support collaboration through list collaborator permissions.
